Step 1: Determine how your insurance wants you to submit your superbills.
Do they want you to submit via mail, email, or through a portal?
Step 2: Decide whether you want to submit all of your superbills at once at the end of your care OR if you want to submit them one at a time.
Step 3: Fill out the out-of-network claims form. You will submit this along with your superbill.
Depending on your insurance, they may require you to submit an out-of-network claims form each time that you submit. This may affect your decision for Step 2 listed above.
This form is different for each insurance and can be found online.
Step 4: You are ready to submit!
Additional information:
Keep in mind that submitting a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement. If your insurance does decide to reimburse you, it may take up to 60 days.
Reimbursify is a website that you can use which acts as a go-between for you and your insurance company.
